ROB, the Robotic Operated Buddy, was used with the game Gyromite. It was a really stupid game that had ROB dropping discs into the proper container or some such nonsense. The game was fun for about 30 seconds.

I think they later came out with another game for use with ROB but it was equally dull.

i remember having the 3-1 game with mario, duck hunt, and olympics which used the powerpad. it was so fun, but i would cheat. on the long jump and stuff you had to jump as high as you could, so i would just jump off the pad, then jump back on and kill the computer. i never got to try the R.O.B. but my freind had the power glove, which seemed kind of stupid, too.

Me and my cousin would have massive tournaments with our selves playing Duck Hunt. I won of course, being the sharpshooter I am. Good times.

there's a light sensor in the gun. i'm sure you noticed that when you pulled the trigger the screen flashed white. what you may not have noticed is that the shootable objects turned black at the same time. if the gun was pointed at a black spot it registered a hit. i'm not quite sure about how it would distinguish between multiple objects. though i'm sure there's a simple enough explanation.

No shit! My friends and I would get together and have big tournaments at people's birthday parties. One year, at my friend Rafi's birthday party, we all played Duck Hunt and then went out to Pizza Hut for dinner. His parents chaperoned and I was stuck in a seat next to his father. It was taking forever to get our food, and we started talking about school and baseball and stuff, he was a nice guy. I excused myself to go use the payphone and we walked to the lavatory and I blew him for $50.

Plus, everyone I know would cheat at Duck Hunt by standing approximately 2 inches away from the TV while shooting.
