I think this is really pretty... how about y'all? I'm looking for ideas of ways to do your hair for an elegant/fancy event.

Post any pictures of what you think is pretty for something like that.

that is beautiful. You have long hair, eh? Because I have lots of ideas for shorter hair, but I've never had really long hair (longest I've ever had was like 3 inches past my shoulders). hmmmmm

I've always been a fan of long, loose, thick curls. But I guess it depends on what you're wearing and whatever.

Yes, my hair is really long... so whatever style I choose will be a bitch to do. It's to my waist right now....

I think the long loose curls are really pretty too, but that's usually how I wear my hair, so I'm looking for something a bit different.

i really like that. i wish that i could get mine to do that, right now my hair hits right above where my spine goes further in. my hair wouldn't hold because it's too heavy. but i think your own hair would look nice like that.

People with long hair should wear their hair ,um ... long. People are GORGEOUS when they let their hair down. I don't like it when people with long hair ball it all up on their head like a fruit basket or something. It just looks bulky & heavy.

If you can get your hair to do the first one, go for it. I'm lucky if I can brush mine and make it look decent. I have a bad hair life.

For a formal event I went to last year, I got my hair done almost exactly like the 1st picture...I really liked it and it didn't even take that long for them to do....

i used to have hair down past my ass and it was really hot, but it was really hard to do anything cool with it and i hacked it all off and ive been really happy with my hair ever since, aside from missing it once and a while. how this helps you. well it doesn't really... oh but i always liked sticking it in a slightly sloppy bun with stuff sticking out like sicks and stuff... but i'm kinda odd i think.
