Well I'll tell you what, I'll go to the bathroom and powder my nose,
while you sit here and think of something to say.

I can only handle a 2, maybe 3 hour road trip. After that I start flipping out.

I remember driving to Detroit with a few friends to see the Pumpkins play, after about the 3rd hour I wanted to kill everyone and we still had 2 more hours to go.

It was worth it though. It was Jimmys first night back and they rocked hard.

Over a three day weekend almost two years ago, two friends and I drove from here, College Station, TX, to NYC and back in my pickup truck. Each way was 1600 miles, 24 hours nonstop in a pickup, with sleep deprevation and only a printout from mapquest.com. We left Friday afternoon and we didn't even make it Saturday night like we wanted to because of a snowstorm in Virginia. We were sidelined and spent the night in Harrisburg, PA, and woke up the next morning, drove to NYC to hang out for three hours, and then drove right back to be back for school. That is dedication/temporary insanity. I got my oil changed right before we left and as soon as we got back. The guys at the auto shop thought we were nuts.

We only had three hours, so we were quick. We ate a hot dog from a street vendor, walked around Manhattan, ate a slice of New York pizza, walked through SoHo, went to the World Trade Center site, took the subway, and bought a I heart NY shirt.

What more could you ask for? One of the best times of my life, and great pictures to remember it by.
