Best Clown Rape movie in history.

listen to the commentary track, its even funnier than the movie. Byran Johnson and Kevin Smith both rip the flick apart and celebrate it too.

that's basically the way to watch it. the best bet is to not take the flick too seriously. the clown rape scene itself is so horrible, it pushes it into comedy.

the flick is kinda schizopheric, but its edgy and original and a hell of alot more entertaining then most of the dreck out there.

I thought it was incredibly amateurish and unfunny, esp. considering that the great cinematographer of "Clerks" and "Chasing Amy" worked on it. Thank god it wasn't that long...

yeah, its valid that the flick looks amateurish. Clerks had that look, but it worked considering how it was supposed to look cheap & set in a convience store. For the budget on Vulgar they pulled off some rather nice & dark sinester cinematography. (I got a DVD screencap I uploaded but it didn't turn out very well. still it gets the point across that the flick does have its nice looking moments, but in the non-dramatic scenes it looks pretty cheap)

'but, sides, CLOWN RAPE! I mean, its clown ass-rape! I just love it, its so fucked and bizzare.

haven't seen it, but i love the kinna humor that you mean- where its to the point that you're no longer viewing it as what's really happening, but laughing because they actually did it and went that far- you can do something to be deep and make a statement until you cross a certain line and it becomes vulgar... but then, if you cross the NEXT line its comedy because you couldn't even possibly take it seriously!

i havent seen this movie, but im assuming if its produced by kevin smith that's what's going on
