I accidentally deleted a file I still needed... Is there a way to retrieve it, or is it lost forever? (yes, I emptied the trash can... dumb me
)I'm looking thru www.download.com but haven't had chance so far... :erm |

You should be able to retrieve the file as long as nothing else has written to the disk, and over where the file used to reside. (that *******s temporary internet files). |

![]() I tried several programs and it didn't work though... I "recovered" the file but it was just a collection of incoherent sound files I have on my disk... I guess the data was overwritten... it's not THAT bad though, I still have a version of the file that requires few modifications to be back to what I had... Goodnight Netphoria! |

rstudio is the best....i once low level formated my HD by accident and was able to retrieve everything of it...i don't know how they do it, but it is amazing...a friend of mine once formated a HD and installed windows on it. he was able to retrieve a 2gb video file from that HD that was on there before he formatted....
