Bruce Campbell at guitar center

yesterday i was at my trusty local oregon guitar center and who should appear before me, Bruce "Don't Call me Ash" Campbell. I kindof did a double take and said " Holy shit your Bruce Campbell" and he replied "Somebody's gotta be." it was great. apperantly he was buying a guitar for his son.

That's cool, did a the clerk turn into a deadite and then Bruce took care of business?

I love how Sam Rami sticks him in every one of his movies (expect for "A Simple Plan"). Actually Rami's been going around making noises about Evil Dead 4 ever since he has alot more clout with Spidey. It'd be Ash in the future with zombies.

Some New Line Exec is thinking of making "FREDDY vs. JASON vs. ASH". That would be no contest, Ash would destroy them.

In the DVD commentaries they both say they'd love to do a 4th movie but they'd never get the funding.

I wouldn't think they'd need that much funding.. hell, Raimi can afford to fund it himself. He made the first Evil Dead (still the best IMO, if you can get over the "cleaned up" DVD version where you can see film imperfections not visible in the original prints like the boxed moon) on a budget of sandwiches and beer.

My ex girlfriend bought me a full screen version of Evil Dead and I was all bummed but then when they released the new transfer Bruce was saying how the original was never properly cropped and then I got the new one, its cool. I have all three on VHS and all three on DVD but no S-Mart ending on DVD!!!!

The commentary on the DVDs are the best.

I think the 2-disc "boom stick" edition has the S-Mart ending. I have the brown bag "Bootleg edition". I like Rami's ending cuz it works more plot wise (Oh god, I took too much!) but the S-Mart ending just flat-out kicks ass all over.
