ugh. in the beginning of the year whenever the phone rang i couldn't reach it cuz i'd be in bed and i wasn't able to get out of bed in four rings. but then when she got her loft we put shelves like on this wall by my bedso the phone went on th etop shelf and it was in good reach so then when the phone rings i can get it. but my roommate is the sloppiest girl youw ill ever see in your life. actually not as sloppy as my sister but pretty damn close. she is fucking sloppy and she never puts the phone back so it just rang, and i'm all 'oh' and i reach to get the phone and it's not there! and i saw it on her desk so i jump down to get it just after four rings jesus christ. is there any way to program it to pick up after 5? it's so fuking annoying. just put the phone back! ugh.

My roomate sleeps with our phone, I think he sticks the antenna up his butt when I am asleep.

Maybe you two should get 2 phones and she only uses hers.. I know that if you only have one Jack that you can get a splitter type thing for it...

You may have to resort to getting a long string to tye to the phone so when it rings you can reel it in.

Call display is great. But if you get it, dont let anyone know that you have it.. then if someone calls and you dont want to talk to them, you can be like "oh, i didnt know you called"

My roommate is extremely possesive of her call-display phone, so much that she tends to hover over my shoulder while i'm on it to make sure i put it back when i'm done. haha.

Do what my dad does. Every time she doesn't put the phone away, walk up to her, ask her rhetorically why the phone isn't put away properly, and then, in step-by-step kindergarten manner, teach her how to put it away.

well she's been in the room before and seen me like get really upset when the phone rings and it isn't within reach. like she'll be in there and the phone will go ring ring and i'll look for it and go 'oh no!' and she'll go 'oh sorry' and hand me the phone so i can answer it or whatever. you'd think she'd have learned by now.

i'm guilty of leaving the phone on my bed sometimes

but only when i'm on my bed. i think. maybe i've left the room and it's been on my bed but it's not like reaching the phone on my bed is any harder than reaching it anywhere else. like all you have to do is stand on tip-toes i dunno. one time my roommate was looking for the phone so she hit the phone finder button and the phone was on my bed and it started beeping and i was all 'ahhh!'

when my phone rings - i just stare at it. after three rings the voice mail picks up. man i love voice mail. and caller ID.
