Isn't that the club that Jack Ruby owned? The name changed but it's the same building I think. Maybe. Or not. Like I'm the fuckin' Texan. Tell me I'm full of shit come on.

You're full of shit. But Ruby did have a part ownership in that club back in the day. I don't know what the name of it was, but it was more of a lounge place than a club.

Now it's just some super-upitty scum techno playing party joint that makes tons of money on rave posers in the Dallas area, like there aren't enough places doing that. Losers.

How does that make me full of shit. Anyway, you are wrong. He owned the Carousel Club now known as Red Jacket. I thank Google for making you look like an ass clown.

From http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/dance/ju...080402_2.shtml :

"'til we departed for the club The Red Jacket, immortalised in history as having been owned by Lee Harvey Oswald's assassin Jack Ruby."

From http://www.henrydees.com/travis_show.htm :

"THE RED JACKET club in Dallas (you know- Jack Ruby's old Carousel Club back in the 1960's-before he shot Lee Harvey Oswald)."

From http://www.geocities.com/bluesdfw/rl.htm

"They managed me, Freddie King, and Little Gary Ferguson. I used to work at Louanns, at Kenneth's Place, and at The Red Jacket. The Red Jacket was one of Jack Ruby's places. "

I meant you are full of shit regardless, not about this Ruby stuff.

I thought there was another guy in partnership with Ruby, because when he went under the business kept up. But, I guess I didn't read "Dallas' Area Club History of Famous People" close enough like you, chief.

By the way, you seem to know a hell of a lot about Dallas/East Texas and Houston not to be from here. I'm beginning to wonder if it's all a big hoax and you are from here actually. I think I may do some research into your G. Tech deal. I'll get back to you on that.

Moron:

Yeah only people from Dallas know about Jack Ruby. Sorry if I immersed myself in one of the most important historical events in American history. Sorry if I visited the JFK sites while in Dallas. Wasn't anything else in that stupid city anyway.

And I said I drove through your stupid East Texas. It says welcome to the Big Fuckign Thicket.

Other than that all I've said about Texas is that my friends live there and one of em frequents the gay bar Oil Can Harrys in Austin.

Also, I don't claim to be from Georgia. How carefully do you read? I went to school there. Enigneering majors at Tech are 75% out of state/15% in state and 10% international. The campus as a whole is 60% in state/40 out of state. I was there for 5 years.

Ruby's not THAT interesting, to start with. Secondly, there's so much to see/do in Dallas, you'd want to not do the JFK deal the first day if you knew anything you were talking about. You've metioned quite a bit about my school, that's for sure. I'm just lazy and don't really want to look through archives to find it and use it against you, well, since no one cares.

Also, I never said you were from Georgia. I just said I'm going to look through alumni archives and see how many 23 year old eng. graduates Tech has attending Marquette Law School and who grew up in Minnessotta.

I have a friend in the alumni office who is going to hook me up tomorrow. I'll find out for sure then.

Ruby's not that interesting huh? This obviously comes from someone who isn't that interested in the JFK assasination since you view it as an afterthought on any trip to visit Dallas for the first time. I find the Ruby story fascinatingly complex.

I like how you don't mention any of that other stuff to "see and do in Dallas." Somehow I doubt the Dallas Tourism people would even agree with you that JFK Museum should not be first on the list,

When my mom's family comes to visit from Honduras they usually see us for a little than go on a vacation somewhere. Dallas was the third place they visited after New York and LA and it was just because of JFK.

Right dude. As long as you can be "sure" about it. I'll be looking forward to you posting your data.
