Default fa$cion post!

neat!

ok. this first one.

i want to do my makeup like this. i have all the supplies. i just don't' know. it looks very time-consuming. and i'd have to think of melt-down factor.

i'm not sure if this a jacket or a dress. perhaps a coatdress? anyhow, it has really wicked lapels. sexy as fuck. the dress on the far right isn't bad, either. maybe a little extreme? but still, it's a basic proportion/length. it could work.

ok. this one is a really nice image. the composite look is great. combination of sheer and opaque. the shiny plastic (resin?) hat is great. the makeup and hair are well suited as well. 60's futurism (courreges? paco rabanne?) meets helmut lang and/or belgian deconstructionalism.

ok. indulge me folks. i rarely make a post like this. i mean, hey, i put up with your stuff, right?

anyway. this is cosmic wonder. i like this line, generally. nothing to say except i'm really feeling plastic materials of late and high contrast elements. i only wish i was thin enough to pull something like this off. the dress/smock on the right really isn't for me, though

i dunno. something about the image on the far right. the half blue lip really sets it off for me. i've been trying to evaluage which of my outfits would be best suited to abstact/geometric makeup and this image helped.

only 3 more to go. then i'm done. i promise. i like this jacket. black and white stripes. yeah. maybe it's feeling tired but i'm still digging it. replaces last year's red and black stripes.

i really love novelty, as cheap as it might be. anything over-sized is good. right now i love claus oldenberg, so it all makes sense.

ok yeah. that's kind of like a cloche. the brim's a bit extended...almost like a bucket hat! um. geez. in spokane? i have no idea. there really aren't any vintage stores like that. there's one, but it's, like, 60's/70's kitsch stuff. um. there are a couple of places like that in seattle....god.i can't remember the name of the one...if you really want one, you should just look online. the style of hat you're after is pretty common and you shouldn't have trouble finding a store that carries them.

This is the best one so far.
I can't decide whether I like the sleeveless or the one with sleeves more.

i wouldn't have any way of knowing. she really doesn't look familiar to me at all. you'd probably have to contact cosmic wonder and ask them, specifically. well, you might be able to find out by emailing hintmag.com (the site which these images are taken from.) cosmic wonder is...i think it's actually british based, but these are parisian shows...so the girl is probably parisian.
