the rules for conduct seem to be different between genders. I don't thing it's necessarily sexist inequality.
As much as we'd like to believe otherwise, it's clear that males and females are attracted and repulsed by different things; females often attracted to confidence and males often attracted to someone who they view as being immaculate.

It's inherent for males to be possessory and competitive. This is often reflected in their egos and the need to feel that they’ve earnt the privilege of viewing their girlfriends in a certain manner.
To have his girlfriend show herself to just anyone doesn’t really have anything to do with 'insecurity', but it could affect his respect for her. Basically it gives the image that she's easy.

But if i was female, i don’t think i'd mind so much if my boyfriend was showing his genitals, because in our society and also in the natural world, there is an inherent aversion to female promiscuity/flamboyance. In all species, females are usually regarded as the ‘trophies’ that rival males right for and the rules of social conduct have adopted and reinforced that perspective.
I suppose it's the same thing when you compare labels as "stud" and "slut". There is just greater emphasis on females behaving a certain way.

But having said all that, she was drunk and the guy should probably take that into consideration before over-reacting like he did.

It depends alot on the situation. I can see my self not getting upset at all or totally getting pissed about. Think depends on how carried away she got with it.

I'd be a bit miffed, but.....it's nothing to split up about or something.

I would be pissed off and I wouldn't probably call her the next day, either. Like what would you say to her? I think the guy just wants her to realize she's done something wrong - she'll acknowledge it and then they can go on again. On the other hand, it wouldn't impress me very much, too, if she'll try to call me TWICE the very next day. Just let him alone now, he'll calm down while he'd think you had enough time to realize your mistake.

But still I guess there will be some doubts left in his head. Like -
yeah, she may be drunk. But is this an excuse? She did that once, so why she couldn't possibly do it next time again? So she should maybe let him know somehow she's aware that what she's done was wrong - that she acknowledges her mistake.

I agree with dancomputers as well.

I'd do what he did too. I'd not call her for a day or two, then probably either call her or tell her to her face that she was acting like a fuckwit.

There's nothing i hate worse than a girl that feels the need to flash people and act obnoxious as fuck when she gets drunk. I get the urge to grab a baseball bat and have at it.

I would be pissed at first, but I wouldn't stop talking to her unless I was just using her for sex and was looking for a reason to dump her.

I think it would actually bother me.
I mean, it would make me feel like just another spectator when I'm supposidly with someone to be someone special to them.
