I miss cooking

I really want to make an applie pie right now. There is something so relaxing about making a pie crust, slicing the apples, and watching it all come together.

I really miss cooking... You just can't cook the same in a dorm, especially when the fire alarm goes off every time someone looks at the oven.

We don't get the Food Network here, so I can't even cook vicariously.

I missed having all these crazy gadgets when i cooked. my grandmother's a chef and I lived with her for a while, and no matter what i wanted to cook, ever, we had whatever we needed right there.

I miss cooking real food. Ramen noodles in the microwave and pasta-roni gets so old after awhile, but hey what can I do?!?

I love the crazy gadgets!!!!! I actually got excited about rammekins in a store once.

i miss the food channel. *cries* i am going to eat sleep and breathe the food channel over thanksgiving and christmas break.

Oh same here. I did it over fall break. Sweet Dreams, Sara's Secrets, 30 Minute Meals....it's all so nice.

i'm cooking right now! lets see.. dan's making a roast.. and I'm making.. something of my own invention...

boiuled chicken torn up and put into..
spiral pasta with...
very lightly sauteed oniions an celery in red wine vinegar and olive oil with one bay leaf, and garlic.. and then added just long enough to soften a tiny, zuccini, and green beans. and then added at last minute, roma tomatoes diced.

oh and i have to remember to take that bay leaf out at some point.. they aren't fun to bite into..

YUM. someone's having a dinner party tonight..
