They're my pick to win the NHL East, providing they can get past the Maple Leafs and NY Rangers, which is probable, unless Daniel Alfredsson gets hurt (again).

Uh...ahem...what about the Flyers? They look terrific so far this season. You could at least have the deceny to mention them! And they are DEFINITELY a better team then both the Rangers and the Leafs.

I'm sick of watching the Sens lose. How come they can beat montreal but lose to the leafs, and then the leafs can beat the sens but lose to montreal? lasfhasdg

They were the second-best team in the NHL last season and they choked in the first round in a bad way. And they don't have Bill Guerin anymore. And they don't have a goalie to speak of.

The verdict is still out on Cechmanek. His GAA is excellent so far this year. And this is only his second season. Plus this new guy we got to back him up looks promising.

Goaltending is very difficult to predict.

You're right about one thing...Goaltending is difficult to predict. EG: Curtis Joseph isn't looking all too hot right now...then again, neither did Hasek for awhile last season.

And another thing: Cechmanek ALWAYS does super in the regular season. In the playoffs, it's like he stops caring.
