need suggestions for mix cd

Nirvana-man who sold the world
Radiohead-fake plastic trees
Pearl jam-black
Jeff buckley-hallelujah

i would have more but im pretty sure he has a lot of stuff i would normally put on there. Any suggestions? maybe something a little less depressing?

2) what kind of "message" are you trying to convey to this person?
3) are you going for just a "favorites" song mix cd or a conceptual one?

well im not really going for any sort of message. im just putting songs on there that i like a lot that i dont think he's heard. I'm thinking maybe a white stripes song and maybe sonic youth?

When I make mix cds for people, I try to blend songs I know that they know and some that they may not be familiar with.

I went with FS because it's more palatable to those unfamiliar with the band.

yeah... i dont really wanna scare him. his favorite band is the allman brothers... so he likes a lot of hippie music i guess. he likes pumpkins and zwan a lot too. i dont really think hes gonna go for korn or tool or any of that stuff.
