What does a failed tuberculosis test look like?

Since it was my 1st time getting tested, I have to do it twice for some reason. They stuck me with the needle the 1st time, and the swelling went down in like 2 hours. This is the second time and i did it yesterday and there's still a HUGE bump on my arm, kinda red that's really tender. should i be worried??

are you sure they're testing you and not innoculating you?

if the bump is still raised after 24hours, you need to go back to the doc and have it checked.

OH MY GOD it says that if you have HIV you usually test positive for TB
oh my god what if i have hiv... i had unprotected sex with someone a couple times... oh my god oh no..

hmmm. no people don't normally die from tb these days if they get treatment on time. people don't really get tb these days anyways unless they expose themselves to homeless people or eh. you were in china werne't you? but i don't know if they have tb there much and even if they did i doubt the incubation period is that long. yeah. you never got a booster shot did you.

yeah i'd be more worried about aids if i were you but don't even worry about that too much. mhm.

Testing positive doesn't necessarily mean you have anything. A positive test could mean that you came in contact with it once, but you didn't actually contract anything. If the test is positive, they'll give you a chest x-ray, and if that turns out ok, then there's nothing wrong with you. You might want to get an HIV test while you're there just in case, though. It's just a good thing to do every now and then.

as i'm sur eyou're all dying to know, i got screened and it was all fine. But it was a close call, apparently . This time when i got it read, 2 nurses had to come look at it and put a ruler up to it to make sure. weird how that time it was a close call and te first time you couldn't even see a thing.

i got tested for this when i was in 5th grade
and the doctors became all scandalized and shit and freaked me out, cos it cam eout positive...but it turned out that i had just come in contact with somebody that had it...and the asshole doctor made me cry and made me think i was going to die.
