JD Salinger. Wrote a great novel and several stories involving the Glass family, then all sorts of other stuff he keeps filed away in his secret mountain fortress. I like the idea of a giant storage room with file cabinets full of manuscripts he will never let see the light of day. That is, until he lets himself trust one woman [Ms Maynard], who stabs him in the back.

William Faulkner loved to fuck with people. He'd go into interviews and pretend he was some kind of country bumpkin. In other interviews he'd pretend like he's read every book ever written. I like that. Hero.

as cheezy as this sounds...my mom. my dad put her and me through a lot of shit, and she dealt with it in such a way that i didn't get too screwed up by it all. when he killed himself, i was 12, and she lied to me for the only time in my life about his death, telling me that he had a heart attack, she told me the truth when i was 16 and could handle it. she works her ass off 7 days a week at 2 jobs to pay the bills, but she always has a smile on her face. she's the most loving amazing woman i've ever met. she's learned to apprechiate every flaw in my character and every think i've done that she didn't really like, she's learned to only focus on the important things...which is a lot for a 52 year old woman. last week, i was laying on my bed in a tank top, and she took my glitter pen and drew over the lines of my tattoo... and then said to me "you should make it look sparkly before you go to downtime tonight". i mean, she knows what i'm up to...i tell her literally everything that's going on in my life and she gives me amazing advice all the time. i fucking love my mother. in my 20 years on this earth, i've had maybe....4 fights with her. we just have a fantastic relationship, and if it wasn't for her, i don't know what i would do with myself. like, if she died- i would be completely lost in this world. i wouldn't know where to begin. my mom is my best friend....and yeah, she's my hero <3
