I voted Dean. Dean, Kerry and Edwards are the only 3 viable candidates in this pathetic Democratic field. I've met Dean twice, and he's a nice guy. Of course, I met him when he was still Gov. Dean, not Presidential Hopeful Dean.
I agree with a lot of his policies, but he has quite a few hang-ups that I am completely against. Of course, all these candidates have a lot of hang-ups true Democrats would be scared to death of. Basically, the Democratic field has gone from ultra-liberal to ultra-conservative. Hence Gen. Clark, who really is a Republican but refuses to be in the party since they all hate him. /end political discussion I got in a fight on here over those statements with spa ced earlier, but if you step back and look at the field, it's all true. |

It's all about issues the youth care about so hopefully thats a question...becuase that really is very important to the youth, not the RIAA but piracy and online downloading in general. Last edited by spa ced : 10-30-2003 at 11:46 PM. |

Obviously, I now think Edwards is the best choice.
Kerry and Clark have the best chance of beating Bush. Gephardt and Lieberman can also fair well against Bush. Right now, Gephardt and Kerry are the biggest threat to Dean. Choosing Dean as the nominee will be the downfall of the Democratic party. Edwards would be a superb VP pick for Kerry, Clark, Gephardt, or Lieberman...he would double the strength of any of their campaigns and pretty much ensure a win. Kucinich, Sharpton, and Moseley-Braun don't have a chance in hell. Kucinich is good, though, because his being in the race is taking away votes from Dean. However, it is extremely important to keep in mind that approximately 38% of dems are undecided as to who they will vote for in the primary. Thus, this is very much still anybody's race. Go Edwards!

I still <3 Al Gore. But that train has sailed...
So I pick Clark. He's got that military cred which is a weak spot for the Dems. He may our best hope to beat W.
