it's kind of cool now. you can play up to 50 seasons. when you recruit in the off season you the new players on your team are actually named and the announcers will call them by that name. "davidson with the tackle" rather than "#54 with the tackle" of course these are real people, but it does add a little something.

once me and my friends were drunk and decided to create our high school football team. we were calling people up and asking for their stats, so we had a line that averaged like 225lbs. CB's that were 5'6" 140lbs.

safe to say the team didn't perform to well during the season.
