experiencing the bends vs. getting bit by a black widow spider?

Which of the two would you pick if you had to experience one?

I've heard the bends be described as if you're burning from the inside out.
I've heard a black widow spider bite makes you feel like your back is breaking and your bones are stretching out in excruciating pain.

When I was growing up (as an only child) I always posed stupid questions like this, and my mom always said it was useless to ask questions such as that and my dad always said he didn't want to think about death. I never got any answers and it was pretty unsatisfying. I'd go with the bends, but honestly not for any reason in particular. You haven't given enough information and both sound miserable. This is a bad question, even from the perspective of someone who asks similarly dumb questions. Sorry!

spider bite. Maybe it's just because the bite (not the venom, but still) would be in one tiny place whereas the bends are "all over"...but eck. the bends. I'd rather be in a hospital for a week than a decompression chamber for two days anyway.
