Talking i went to see Punch Drunk Love

only two theaters are showing it in all of the region... so i drove to KC after class and caught the first showing today.

there was hardly anyone there. i mean, i know it was 1:15, i'm sure the showings tonight will do better. and it was mostly old people. like senior citizens. another effect of it being 1:15 i suppose.

as for the movie itself. i don't know. it was really weird and the main character made me nervous a lot. but the overall feeling i got from it was a good one. it made me smile. blah.

I watched Bone Collector in criminalistics today. We watch a lot of cinematic tripe in that class.

oh. and i don't know if it's really going to affect your movie experience if you haven't seen Punch Drunk Love yet, but i thought this was way cool:

i loved how there were no opening credits at all. not even the title. i wonder how many people noticed.

i think we will later this year.

i just hate the crap that the teacher shows to us. We watch an episode of CSI every now and then and I just feel dumber every time I watch it.

Bone Collector just had absolutely pitiful writing. And the fact that it appeared as though they were trying to spice things up a bit by showing denzel washington in his fucking hospital bed from a different angle every single time really annoyed me.

was it anything like Magnolia? I imagine it to be a typical romantic comedy...

no...it wasn't like magnolia much at all....but it certainly was not at all your typical romance movie....it was very very weird....adam sandler really makes you feel your gonna go crazy in the movie....there's some very cool directing techniques too...i highly recommend it...dont go expecting magnolia though...

It's quite an experience that takes you from chaos to harmony

well, it fit really well. and you know that one song that played a lot in it? i think the vocal was "he loves me he loves me" over and over? i was humming it like all the way home.
