I'll just stick with being undeclared. . .

This whole college things feels like a waste of time. Still, I know it will do me good I guess.

Just because she goes out with me? Christ, even I didn't think you were that low. You should be in the Guiness Book of World Records or something.

I was a comm. major (well, journalism technically), and I had 4 job offers and didn't really search too hard. Everyone I know who graduated with a journalism degree has a decent full-time job now.

Communications and Journalism are not the same thing. Journalism majors are aspiring writers; communications majors are aspiring NFL stars.

It depends where you are. Many schools that are smaller have communication degrees, and you specialize in a certain field. Most of the public schools in Texas are like that for some reason.

There is no such thing as a worthless degree. It all depends on what you want to do and what kind of internships/work experience you have. You can have a Bachelor's in Psychology and get a job as a Research Associate. You can have a Bachelor's in Communications and get a job in a PR firm. Very few degrees are going to get you the greatest job in the world without further education. In today's you pretty much need to get an advanced degree. But, there is no degree where you aren't going to be qualified to do anything upon graduation.

i'm a psych/poly sci major w/ bio minor. it is true psyc is very interesting, but unless you are going on in your education a B.A. or B.S. will get you nowhere.well not nowhere, but you won't be bringing in the big bucks. i'm looking to go to law school. but if i were just getting a bachelors no way would i get a degree is psych. my friend is a sociology/antropology major. she will probably be poor.

actually nowadays unless you are chem/bio or engineering you really need to go to professional or graduate school. i mean what can you get with an english major/ history.
