It's at Six Flags Magic Mountain out in CA. But they closed it for a while to make repairs. I don't know if they ever re-opened it. That was about 2 or 3 years ago I think.

I went because they wanted me to come! There's other stuff to do at amusement parks besides ride the rides. We had a good time. Like I said, it's not your place to tell your friends what to do. It's not them being annoying; it's you being an asshole.

It's true at Cedar Point that they don't really buy experimental rides like X, but you do have to give them props for just building the biggest and best of an already winning system.
I went on X last December and it was running smooth as crazy. The lines were fairly big, but that's mainly just because the restraints are so unconventional that people take forever and thus cause massive load times. It was the ride of my life. It comes only after Millenium Force and Montu (an Bollinger and Mallibard inverted down at Busch Gardens Tampa) as my favorite ride. Come to think of it, it might be above Millenium Force. Hmm....
