should i have a party or not?

a lot of us are leaving in the next two weekends. My best friend leaves on saturday and I leave the next saturday. This is our last full week together. would it be a good idea to just have everyone over on thursday night? i usually throw big loud parties but i think just a chill night in my porch or yard would be fun. yay or nay?

the more i think about it the more i want to do it. I love my friends so much. we're this huge happy family and we're going to miss eachother like crazy. I think we're going to end up like the class that graduated when we were freshman. they're STILL all best friends who hang out all the time. one of my friends who i havven't seen since grad night works at the grocery store i go to, and i went tonight and he wasnt working and i was sad. I heart nathan.

the only kind of party I've went to that comes close was an alleged halloween party, except it turned out it was a big scam and I was the only one who showed up in costume

I'm poor right now and therefore cheap so I can't spend money on this one like i did our grad party. I don't mind hosing parties mainly because my friends are great and there's really nothing in my backyard to mess up. I told everyone to bring a bag of candy or some soda. we'll just sit and eat candy because i really love candy.
