"let's keep the house temperature at like 60 degrees kids!" so while everyone is wearing blankets, sweatshirts and the like, she's in a t-shirt and shorts.

Hey at least your mom doesn't go crazy every couple years and winds up in the mental hospital.

Finding your mother at the bottom of a creek bed, freaked out and soaked in piss isn't a fun thing when you come back home for winter vacation.

I was around when my grandma went through it, it was wild. Now my mom is starting, thank god I don't live with her. She does call me sometimes, being extremely happy or bawling and telling me she is a horrible mother :erm

At least your mom still gets cold sometimes. Mine will have the air on 68 and still have a floor fan going when she's cooking dinner. All year round.

She also insists she's not menopausal.

My mom is 59... and started going through it when she was around 48ish... she's never really been the same since. I mean, she doesn't have the same fits she used to... but she's really nerotic now.

My mom is going through it, but we don't let her fuck with the A/C. If she wants warm, she goes outside, if she wants cold, she goes to the basement. She is handeling it pretty well, but I tink she is on drugs for it too.
