This movie was pretty kickass...even though I still don't really see how everything fit together. I understood it enough to enjoy it though. Some kickass visuals...just yeah. First decent movie I've seen in a long long time.

I heard it got really bad reviews...some said that even though FearDotCom was a ripoff of this movie, at least it had better special effects and shit like that. I dunno, I'm going to track down the original, my friend says he can get it so I'm going to watch the original before I see the new version.

why the fuck was the official sp site promoting this? im not saying its a bad movie, i just dont see how the 2 are related.

um the o-site is run by sony right? maybe Sony is producing the movie or whatever...I have no idea, just a thought.

That movie scared the living daylights out of me. Granted I was with a friend who always feeds on my fear, and it was late at night and stuff, but oh my gosh. I felt like I was going to have a heart attack with all that suspense. Especially when don't read this part if you don't want to hear anything about the movie. Don't spoil it for yourself!!***the girl got out of the well and walked out of the television...I mean holy crap! And the way her hair was hanging in her face... aaaaaahhhh!!****

I'm sure it would have been pretty easy to make fun of it, and the kid seemed almost out of place or something, like he was trying to be the kid from The Sixth Sense, but otherwise I thought it was great. It's fun to get scared sometimes.

i downloaded it last night off a news group, haven't watched it yet, but you could try that, i dunno if you're aganst that or something... but i'm sure not.

Ringu? as far as i know it hasn't been released in NTSC format so i don't see a reason not to download it. i wonder if it's on kazaa or anything.

there's a Ringu dvd that claims to be NTSC on ebay but it's like $125.

i just watched Ringu.

i thought it was ok. not great. and not scary at all. but kind of funny in an ultimate view sense.

it was just so. japanese. hehe.

i'm downloading Battle Royale now!

what other movies should i watch huh.

uh...Wasn't it obvious? The little girl did. She was able to project images onto paper....remember from the mental hospital? Since the VCR was directly above the well, she was able to project the 'images' onto the VHS tape.
