Sorry to misquote you. I didn't attribute it to you because I wasn't sure whether you actually said addict (read: I was too lazy to go back and look).

But being an addict is not defined by whether you are aware what the substances you consume are doing to your body.

I've been addicted to drugs before. I'm not at all proud. Especially considering that I realized what meth was doing to my body, my relationships, my mind, my grades (well actually those went up but you get the pint), etc.

Surely I'm not alone in this regard. Drug addiction is so powerful that often you know what it is doing (I mean the fucking results are impossible to miss, okay) but don't have the strength to stop.

P.S. If Smiley and Amazing Disgrace turn these words into more schtick jokes, I'm gonnaa..... Um. Well probably laugh. But fucking chill out already.
