We got a video of Shame yet? Did they do it Adore style or more like 2007 style?

Iha on Shame has some serious 1998 tour vibes. I like the live pro shot of the band more than the Strawberry art. I don’t understand why they can jam on stuff like this, but their new records are totally jam-less, even anti-jam.

Sustainable business model does not support jamming on record, radio won't play it, kids won't listen to it etc

Also why is Jeff still employed? He adds nothing and is 100% not needed if James is there.

I can get behind bashing Jeff when he noodles around too much, but I actually thought his leads on "Crush" (based on the small clip I have seen) seemed fairly accurate to the album.

Stoked to see "Shame" return, and with a vibe closer to the 1998-2000 performances of the song. I dug the "heavy" 2007 version, but am one of the few who had consistently loved and preferred the studio take and live takes on it closer to that.

For a festival set, I thought it seemed like a good balance of hits and deep cuts.

James is back, no need for asian-american guitarist #2 to take the lead on a Gish song. Jeff is a nice guy but the whole thing comes off as a WPC mind game.

How have we not discussed the inclusion of Quiet yet? I mean, there's a case to be made that it's the weakest Siamese Dream cut, but still, p cool that it showed up. Between that, Crush and Shame, you had some deep cuts in there to keep me plugging thru a festival set of greatest hits.

Sounded pretty great too and the hits are right to play at a festival after two years off. Seems like a real mixed bag of a setlist, some great choices in there but the Cyr songs all struggle a bit. Same for Eye, wish they'd retire that one, anything that involves Billy with a backing track and no guitar is not a strength of the band

It sounded pretty decent. His vocals weren't half bad on this performance of it. As for the song itself I've never considered a weak cut. The SD version slams. To me a weaker cut would be Sweet Sweet and honestly I'm kinda over Cherub Rock and Disarm.
