Way back when Iha was releasing his last solo album, he seemed to mix-up "...Said Sadly" and "Blew Away" in an interview, and Monte just tore into him. The funny thing is, Billy seems to make these mix-ups all the time.

During his last solo tour, he played one of the early Zwan songs for the fist time since 2001, and someone made a comment about this on Instagram. Billy responded saying they'd played it numerous times after 2001, but a quick look online showed he was wrong. When I saw the in 2007, he said "Set the Ray to Jerry" was from Pisces. I pointed out some similar occurrences to Monte, and he just made up some excuse for Billy.

Five years ago I never would've guessed that for the years following, I would spend each Valentine's Day with my one and only soul mate. I'll never take for granted the small beautiful details, that make our story so special: Meeting online in a Smashing Pumpkins facebook group, being married a few years later (with @smashingpumpkins lyrics engraven on our rings), and experiencing so many incredible things along the way that tie it all together. Sometimes life can be very hard and seemingly unfair, but I'll take whatever struggles are thrown at me, if at the end of the day this is my reward. Happy Valentine's Day, Buzzard my Love! There's no one else I'd ever want to share this crazy cool journey with.

As for Zeitgest, I'm going to treat it the way my family, friends, and church community treats me:

IT DOESN'T EXIST

That it is, but he said one of the top selling albums, which it isn't.
RIAA counts double albums as two units, so MCIS reached 10 million units sold by selling 5 million copies. Still isn't included in the top 100 https://www.riaa.com/gold-platinum/?...search_section

typical american only looks at american sales lol

worldwide is a bit different: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_o...selling_albums

mcis still isn't even in the top 80 though (which is all that is shown there).

Eh?!

There are either factual errors in this or I'm unaware of my second life or I'm just saying all this to avoid trouble at one of my homes.

The reading comprehension thing aside, we can give him a little credit here considering if you go through that list and knock out all the soundtracks, greatest hits compilations, and blatant pop, you get to the 10MM that MCIS sold after only 15 albums. And Led Zeppelin accounted for 4 of those. And the only such acts that weren't older than TSP were Kid Rock, Linkin Park, and Notorious BIG. He should've said "rock albums", though ("non-pop" doesn't have the same ring).

On a side note, apparently AC/DC's Back in Black has sold more albums in the US than in the entire rest of the world combined...and they're Australian. Living in the US, I never knew there was such a big disparity in their popularity in the rest of the world.

Mellon Collie was at least the best selling double album of the Nineties.
