My sp story is i heard 1979 and tonight tonight on the radio in 1995 and thought who the heck let this utter goblin sing over such splendid soundscapes? It spoke to the unlovable goon inside me. But i wasn’t obsessed until probably 1998 with adore, that’s what sealed my fate

Started lurkin netpho when i got my 1st smartphone in 2014, and it was a revelation to find ppl who felt as disappointed and flabbergasted at big willies artistic decline as me. Also it was a wild and funny board, lot of very active characters at that time. Got hooked real quick. Been clicking here like every day since

Funny u ask that today b/c im teetering on the edge of what feels like a breakdown, not dealing with some recent and extraordinary work/personal stress very well at all. So no. My childhood sucked and my brain is broken. It’s one thing to have these various self-help mantras and affirmations and to intellectually know how to crawl out of the hole. But it’s hard to actually do the healthy thing, especially when i just dont like myself very much right now

It’s just a particularly shitty netpho name. The song was getting trashed on here when i joined. My perverse hope was that it would be the worst name on the board. Every time ppl saw it they’d hear the song in their heads that they hated so much. Just a way to be contrarian and a dickhead, which seemed like it could be a way to sorta fit in, at the time

Just feel like an anteater and me could get along kinda good, have some adventures together

Every summer the little ants find ways into our house and one time they got in and were inside this little bag of chips i was getting ready to eat. And i didn’t see them on the counter so i reached my hand in that bag and snagged a chip and that chip was by my lips before i saw there were maybe 1,00,00,0000,00000,00 little tiny ants scramblin round on it

Needless to say i was unable unfortunately to eat that chip. So like yeah the anteater could help protect bags of chips and everything too
