To me, This franchise is obscene.
The first was a totally fine throwaway actioner.
Part 2 was pretty terrible, I hated the lighthearted buddy lethal weapony tone they went with.

I decided to forgo any further instalments until a good friend of mine said to watch part 3, which he said will leave me wanting more... son of a bitch was right... I watched part 4 and then 5 and witnessed how majestically batshit it became and completely fell in love- (and I have zero interest in fast cars or gratuitous testosterone fuelled giant cock wish fullfillment.) But I love this franchise and damned if I wasn’t moved by Brian’s goodbye.

they’re supposed to be bringing him back in F9. Hope they do and hope it’s done well.
