Short Bus was underwhelming aside from about half of it. That live version of Stuck In Here from the Dublin show in 96’ (same show where the girl died during SP’s set) is so much better than the boring album version. Title of Record is good all the way thru, stfu.

that doesn't say much about filter considering how low the bar is.

Boris' last three albums are better than TSP's AND Filter's last three albums combined.

crazy eyes (the most recent album) was pretty shit.

but the 2 before that, 'the sun comes out tonight' and 'the trouble with angels' are their best 2 albums, better than short bus and title of record.

Corgan's Bluff direct communication of dad jokes & Filter puns to Richard Patrick has been the funniest fucking thing i've seen all day

You're also keeping him up to date on the Grave Next Door situation, i trust?

of the very, very 90s Spawn soundtrack, "Trip Like I Do" probably aged the best

Great soundtrack altogether. I prefer the Filter collab version of (Can't You) Trip Like I Do over the original Crystal Method Trip Like I Do song. The original song doesn't have the energy of the version with Filter.

Title Of Record is probably the only album that I still listen to from them.

there was a silverchair song called spawn on that one, and they redid the song for neon ballroom and called it spawn again, and that was pretty great. it was an animal rights song. i might have to go back and listen

It was originally a Crystal Method track off their album Vegas simply titled Trip Like I Do. Same for the Orbital & Kirk Hammett collab Satan, which was originally an Orbital track. Stabbing Westward released their own version of the track Torn Apart on their album Darkest Days, which is pretty different from the Wink collab version. Personally, I like the Wink version better. Silverchair also released their own version of Spawn Again, which the collab version with Vitro was just called Spawn. There is also another mix of The Prodigy and Tom Morello collab One Man Army, which is called No Man Army and featured on The Prodigy's Smack My Bitch Up single. This version does not have vocals by Maxim and features some additional sounds. A faster mix of No Man Army was featured on the bonus disc of The Prodigy's Their Law: The Singles 1990-2005 and called No Man Army (Edit). The Metallica and DJ Spooky collab is pretty much just DJ Spooky remixing From Whom The Bell Tolls.

The same guy Happy Walters who organized the Spawn soundtrack also did the soundtracks for Judgment Night, which saw rock and rap artists collaborating, and Blade 2, which saw rap and electronic artists collaborating.

Not every collab was a success. Here's a collab between Gravity Kills and Moby that ended up not being used...
