i'm going to be fourteen in like a month, but they're pretty lenient up here or something. at worst i wouldn't start until after my birthday.

I think everyone should work a fast food or restaurant job at some point in their life......after getting treated like crap by every joe that walks through, you'll never get mad at a waiter again

almost all of my friends have jobs. katie at rosallini's, laura at rosellini's, danica at dairy queen, lori at the antique store, greg+zach at the gun club, travis at a restaurant, etc.

this is so true, i am 18 and i have only worked about 2 months in my whole life (collective not consecutive), I intend to hold off work aslong as possible.

that's why i got a job at 15. at burger king. because my friends were all working. BAD IDEA. I could have just mooched off of my parents, but i wanted to be responsible or something. :/ i always pick the hard way.

Eh. At 14, I couldn't get a job this summer. Actually, I probably could've if I tried harder, but my only clearly available option was a retirement home, and I don't exactly think I'd be too comfortable working there. And I heard Wendy's took at 14 but the local one was 15. Actually there was the library, which wouldn't have been bad, and I might've gotten. Oh well. A few more are available at 15, and the floodgates really come open at 16. I'm definitely getting one next summer. I don't know where, maybe a Walmart (the fucking piece of shit corporation that it is) since it'll be opening up here soon.

And of course I could hold off for a while, but honestly I get too bored during summer as I don't really do much. Uh. Of anything. Plus my parents really want me to get one and I'd like some extra money as well.
