Speaking of Discord servers, I've been thinking for a while we should move the chat from Slack to it. I've been using it for a while for other communities and really like it better. Both the mobile and desktop apps are much better.

But I have no idea how open to that idea people would be.

Yeah discord is where it's at, slack is more for work places afaik

It will suck to migrate everyone because different people will become aware at different times. You could go through the user list, send each of them a PM on here, set up the new server, lock the slack server and put up a notice with a link to the new server. That's how I'd do it.

Also maybe we could sticky the link the discord server? We could have it so you have to be approved by certain standards to post there or something.

might be a good idea to just leave a message for the doc that you can't sleep/are grinding teeth/etc and that you went down? idk how it works there, but he might have had some other plan instead of just putting it down, like adding a mood stabilizer instead. but IDK
