Yeah, I heard everything it being stuff from Androfsky's YEAR ONE project to ONSTAR comericals to DEAD END. If its a Fan Film, it looks pretty good actually.

They've changed his suit so many times over that its hard to figure out exactly WHAT his look is anymore. I actually think Frank Miller's is one of the best, but I liked Burton's outfit too.

The one in this pic actually ain't half bad.

Uhhhh.. if I'm reading spoilers correctly about halfway through the flick the fucking PREDATOR shows up.

That's probably wrong.

But anyway, yeah, BATMAN: DEAD END is the short in question and its being shown at the San-Diego comic con.

SC: Not really a different ending, more of the "extended" ending... I wanted Superman to come down at the end and ask Bats if he needed help...LOL!

some of the cinemathography is actually quite good, especially the scenes of Batman swooping through the streets, which captured his enigmatic presence pretty well. They nailed the look of the Joker (as opposed to Nicholson's Joker - don't get me wrong, I thought he was great, but the Joker in Dead End looked like the scraggy, twisted psychotic he was supposed to), but as far as acting goes, he came off as more of a whiny pussy than a homicidal neurotic. Also, I don't know about Batman's costume. Granted, it's more reminiscent of the original Frank Miller design, but prancing around in tighty-whities just doesn't strike fear into the heart anymore. The leather cowl/cape are cool though.

oh, and it just got lame after the middle.
