How often do you use your cell phone?

Losing my phone a few weeks ago and not having it for the remainder of that weekend really reminded me how much I needed that sucker....not to mention I've not come close to replacing half of my phonebook yet.

Paid minutes, weekends/nights and pcs to pcs....I'm using around 1500-2000 minutes/month.

I always use MY CELL PHONE!!!!111! It sucks that I have to share minutes with my brother though and he uses it so much more than me.

no but seriously. i don't want one. they're way too expensive. i mean theya cost more than a house phone. and i never leave my house anyways. and when i do i really don't need a phone. if it's that important i'll find a pay phone. they're cheaper anyways.

my roommate and i both have cellphones, so we don't have a land line. i get 200 weekday minutes and unlimited evenings/weekends for $30/month. i probably use between 500-1000 minutes/month.

i might use mine for about 5 mins per month or something stupid. i've had it since christmas and have spent a total of about £13 on it (maybe $20) ...and most of that was drunken conversations/ slanging matches with mates.

i never phone anyone sober :erm

my cell phone is my main and only phone. i don't have a landline and i don't plan on getting one.

I use between 1500 and 1800 minutes per month depending on how many times I got drunk that month and how many of my friends are going through major life crises.

I pay $60 a month and could never possibly go over my alottment of minutes.

I only use mine when I'm on the road and need to get in touch with someone. 'Someone' predominantly consists of my parents, and we have a setup whereby I can call them for free and vice-versa with only a small overhead cost.

I bet you're use of minutes goes down this month due to a certain person not picking up your late night calls anymore for certain reasons not to divulged in this thread.

Ha, most likely. Plus, Nikki and I used to talk a lot more. My bills were regularly slated at more than 6000 minutes.

But, it's all for $29 a month, because AT&T rules and I have a lovely hook-up deal.

Less than 500 minutes. I'm not much of a talker to begin with and I work in a hospital 40+ hours a week where we really aren't supposed to use them.

I don't even know my home phone number.... Really.. It's sad. I went to open a blockbuster account last week, and they asked for a home phone number on the application -- I froze. Whoops. Oh well. I gave them my cell phone number anyway. heh

Lets see, my plan started over on July 15th, and I've already used 475 pcs-pcs minutes, 165 peak minutes, 65 night/weekend minutes... So uhh.... I usually use over 1000, maybe even over 1500 minutes a month, but I've used a lot more this month

I think I'm the only person in Souther California without a cellphone. Even the homeless have cellphones here.

The only cell phone I've ever owned was given to me and paid for by work at a job I had a couple of years ago.

I have no need for one. I had a pager for a while, but even that seemed annoying. I don't want to be bothered by people calling me when I'm in the car, at the store, at work, etc.

The only phone I might get someday is a prepaid minutes plan, and I won't give out the number.

but those are at a much higher per minute rate. why waste the money?

and i really don't understand why someone would not want one. sure, don't use it as much as i or someone else might. sure, don't give out the number. but what about those times when it could really come in handy:
-car accident
-emergency
-family emergency where they have to get a hold of you
-just left the house, someone at home forgot to tell you something
-"OMG, go to 7-11, it's free slurpee day!!"

i just think it's silly not to have one, oh well.

The only phone I have right now is my cell, and I get free long distance and free nights, so right when it hits 9 PM, I tend to go nuts with it.
