Default American Pie 3 - The Wedding One

I'm assuming this trash has already screened in the states by now. should I waste some bucks on it or what? American Pie 2 actually made me laugh now and then, when that guy was pissing on stifler's face from the balcony, that was super

Cool

I'm going to the premiere next Thursday.

*note= I'm only going to see Matt Nathanson do a private performance in the theatre before the screening of the movie.

And, I'm excited as all hell.

Okay, you had a perfectly normal post about a movie going, and then you had to add something about a guy pissing on someone's face and how you liked it. Really.. did nothing in your brain say, "hey, maybe I shouldn't add that because everyone else already thinks I'm a freak" ?

I haven't seen it. I'm sure it's no Daredevil, but you'll probably end up liking it anyway.

The first one was god-awful.

I avoided the second like the Black Death.

There's no way in hell I'm even going close to a theatre playing the third.

yep...

i didn't laugh once during the first movie. seriously, i predicted about 75% of the 'jokes' about 5 seconds before they happened. they weren't even executed well.

I have a soft-spot for the series because the first one came out when I was leaving high school and the 2nd one came out in the summer of my 2nd year of university, making the characters somewhat easy to identify with. Besides there are some great one-liners in the flicks:

**Willow knocks on the door**
WILLOW: Hi, we heard there was a party here?
STIFFLER: Party? What party?
**Drunk kid walks up to Stiffler and throws an arm around him drunkenly.**
DRUNK KID: HEY STIFFLER! GREAT PARTY MAN!!!
**Drunk kid staggers away drunkenly. Stiffler looks at the beer in his hand.**
STIFFLER: Weird . . .
**Slams door.**

Personally, though I’ve only seen each flick only once, maybe the 1st one twice. They’re enjoyable, have a bit of heart to them, but they’re also extremely forgetable. Only notable thing being that it allowed Sean William Scott to make “Dude, Where’s My Car?”

Also I’ve always seemed to have a pretty good date whenever I go to those flicks. Don’t have any prospects lined up for this one, though. Any takers?

Im a big fan of the American Pie series, and I was incredibly fortunate to get to see the first screening shown anywhere about a month and a half ago. The movie was pretty cool. The characters that wern't in it were not missed. The bachelor party scene was hysterically funny. The escalating comedy was well done and came together nicely. I was looking forward to a sex scene between Jim and Michelle (Willow), but sadly that didn't happen. But the thought of her under the table giving Jim head in the resturant was pretty hot. What bothered me the most about the movie was Stiffler. All throughout the movie, especially in the beginning, he was "fuck-face" this, and "fuck no you pussies" that. He name called waaay too much and that got annoying after a while. The ring-dog-turd-chocolate thing was retarded. They went for the cheap laugh and the rest of the theatre fell for it. I thought the writers were more original than that and was I disappointed that they went that route. There is character development, but it's what you'd expect from an American Pie movie. I will go see it again when it opens.
