Default Odai and Qusai had a bad day

The worst day actually. The 'Coalition' blew their home to pieces, killing them both along with Saddam's 14-year-old grandson and another unnamed victim.

If you don't know, Odai and Qusai are Saddam's two sons, No. 2 and 3 on the infamous deck of Iraqi playing cards.

Yes. Never going to war and allowing terrorists to blow up our cities certainly would be cheaper.

Ha. As if the war in Iraq has done anything to alleviate the possibility that terrorists will blow up our cities.

"Smoking out" Al Qaeda - I'm on board with that.

Spending $70 million on phantom WMDs - Pretty fucking pointless.

Oh, so you were in favor of giving the UN inspectors more time, but yet you want the US inspectors to have immediate success.

Well yes actually. After Rumsfeld claimed that they knew exactly where WMD stockpiles were located during his justification for the invasion.
Has anyone noticed how the searched has subtly changed from searching for weapons of mass destruction to weapons of mass destruction programs?

So the Al Queda training camps they found in Iraq must be from another group also uing the name Al Queda.

I didn't say per se that the linnk from 9/11 to Iraq was direct. If Iraq has WMD though, it's not a stretch to believe they will wind up in terrorist hands.

In any event, we should all be happy the sons are dead.

Turns out they weren't Al Qaeda traning camps at all ... there were a few reports at the time rubbishing that particularily tenuos link. The only one I can dig up and link you to is this one. Can't be bothered trying any harder really.

Nothing more than spin and propoganda man.

Latest intelligence suggests we're hardly safer than we were before the war.

Anyway, if Hussein's sons are dead I'm glad. I read about the fucked up stuff they did in a Newsweek article. Freaking brutal. Oh well, just one of the very few positives that came from this war.

I just saw on CNN that th e Iraqi citizen corroborrated evidence the US forces had about the location and then they went in... he's already been given his $20 million reward. Hmm, I bet he stays in Iraq!
