OK, so I'm moving out of my house now, and it sucks because I liked it and now I have to find a new place. I don't even know where to being, I have very little money, and no friends really. wtf.
Anyone had to do the same thing, and have any helpful suggestions? |

i'm in the same boat. i need to find a place for the school year. i have a roommate, but i know she is going to drive me even crazier then the one i had last year.
all i can tell you from my experience is it's hard at first, but definately worth it once you get everything settled in and worked out. |

I used roommate services. But it was a disaster. so I guess that isn't good advice.
I'd try to get a 1bdrm, if you can afford it. |

I'm suddenly about to move in with brand new parents, actually in time to be there when the baby comes. For six months.
How fucking unbelievably lucky. |

Try to find a roommate who already lives in a nice apartment. OR try to find a studio/efficiency. Depending on the city you live in, there are a lot of apartment finding/searching websites out there. And, of course, there is your local paper. And try also looking on the local colleges/universities websites...a lot of times they have info about off-campus housing that could be of use to you.
