I've always wondered what would happen if a mainstream band named themselves Fuck. Cause then when they played them over and over on the radio they couldn't even say their name... but then how would they know who did the song? It boggles the mind.

see, a band called fuck would most probably not even get a record-deal. and if they had their own label, the radio-stations just wouldn't play them

That's why they get all mainstream, then change their name. Then they already have a record label and the stations cant refuse to play them cause everyone loves them.

Well, in Billy Corgan's literary masterpiece "Glass and the Machines of God" the band "The Smashing Pumpkins" changes their name to "Glass and the Machines of God" or something like that. I don't know... fuck them anyways.

there is a band called Fuck on matador records. they're from san fransisco. i have one of their albums. i bought it because it has my favorite album cover ever. the album sucks. they sound like a lamer yo la tengo. although apparently their latest album is different and interesting.

i wanna start a barbershop quartet called Fuckapella.

In college I was in a god-awful band called KiNGRITNOJ - Killing Northwest Georgia Rednecks In The Name of Jesus.

We did covers of pop songs but in a distinctly death metal style. It was fun. Our version of "No Sleep Till Brooklyn" was great. It was called "No Sleep Till Buckhead." We weren't very talented, but we had a website.
