Yeah, I guess my heart just wasn't really in it to do these things. Most schools afai can tell don't want visitors unless you get interviews, or at least they won't give you a formal tour or anything until you are selected for one. too many applicants to do that for graduate students

Yeah I kind of went thru the motions myself. Didn't know about the interviews. never got that far I guess. when i did get accepted it was at an sda school. getting in there was easy. no wonder the peace corps interviewer mocked me heh.

damn I need to start thinking about this myself. i'll be going to grad school in the fall.

A little, but also based on the fact that she seems to have been very clear about at least one thing she wants on her birthday -- to go to her favorite spa.

I may be reading the whole thing wrong, but I'd use caution in pulling that rug out from under her.

it's more like something she suggested, saying she thinks that one is her favorite but couldn't remember for sure... then asked me later 5 times if i like spas or i'd rather do something else. especially when i asked if she wanted to get a massage there and she said no.
