crawling across the finish line now, kids in bed. Had dinner with a couple of other expat families, which was fantastic but you know, your own family sucks but at least you know them. New families have me on edge like if I'm careful about what I say and do they might think I'm normal and I won't ruin the mood of the day with my shitty brokenness and emotional wounds

eeuugggh so tired. I had four hours of sleep last night.

Yesterday was probably the best Xmas I can recall in recent memory. Did fuck all until 5:00 in the afternoon. Spent most of the day inside playing video games, listening to music and watching old Simpsons while the snow piled up outside. Met up with the gf in the evening, visited her fam for a few hours and then we capped the night by exchanging gifts.

No fuss, no muss.
