I think my opinion is pretty reasonable. I'm all for adults doing what they need to do to fulfill their journey, but I'm concerned when children are increasingly going through with the procedure.

Being a child something can seem like the biggest deal and you can be obsessed about it and then you grow up and you think back with a chuckle about how you couldn't care less about it now.

Are you looking at some sort of statistics or just regurgitating some big-pharma issued spin? And has the data followed up with patients 10-20 years down the line?

My guess is not. The movement of children going through the hormone therapy has been a rather new phenomena over the past 3-7 years.

The internet is littered with horror stories. Even if we pretend that it ends up backfiring in 10 percent of people while the other 90 percent are elated and thrilled, that's still an incredibly high number considering what a serious procedure it is.
