just announced.

Breaking News
Bucks Fire George Karl
The Milwaukee Bucks have fired head coach George Karl after five seasons. Karl was 205-173 as the Bucks' head coach. Details to come.

--

The Bucks have now effectively killed off each of the pieces that took them to the Eastern Finals in the '00-'01 season. Nice.

i'm glad he's out but you could describe the bucks' transactions since losing Game 7 of the 2001 Eastern Conference Finals to someone with zero knowledge of sports, let alone basketball, and even they would realize this is an organization reading the roadmap upside down. it's almost like they are taking advice from george costanza, circa The Opposites episode. they're truly doing the opposite of what a normal human being would do on each and every transaction.

i just wanna say i'm glad to have been a part of the organziation. even if in an internly capacity.

george karl is one of the most overrated coaches in history. what has he done? really? has he won any rings? why is this man one of the highest paid coaches ever? all he ever does is gather a ton of talent, and then proceed to ride and browbeat his players so hard that it only guarentees turmoil and underachievement. This is the man that allowed Team USA to lose. WTF. George Karl has conned the NBA.

A team loses after the front office trades away their franchise players, that's gotta be Karl's fault.

no theyre going to get sold to some local group. jordan's botched post-Bulls career is left intact, though specualtion in beer city is that jordan was calling the shots when TJ Ford was drafted.
