Lol, one thing I always tell people is that when a game is rigged, it doesn't at all mean it's gonna be a blowout for the team it's rigged for... Often times when a games rigged it comes down to half a point of the spread with a missed free-throw, miss field-goal attempt and goofy stuff like that.

Having the games end really close to the spread keeps it exciting for the gamblers who make up a big and dedicated part of the sport viewing public.

It's as good as a guarantee it'll happen if she performs. It appears that it's non-debatable if you're a pop-star. I figure it's a demand ordered from the top down for reasons unbeknownst to me... Definitely kind of weird... And at this point I don't think it's simply a "coincidence".

I see your point though, but that's not really what I'm getting at. I mean strictly the entertainment that takes place when the clock is ticking... I don't watch any of that national anthem or ceremony baloney that is so pervasive in American sporting events either. I'll usually turn the game on, have it on pause for about 45 minutes and then watch so I can fast-forward through all that crap and commercials.

I'm just disappointed that my cousin in the NFL refuses to admit that he's dropping catches on purpose when the coach needs them to lose by two points.

No offense, but I'm not sure why I must put up with this middleman bullshit.

Too late. ESPN is owned by Disney remember. Many academics hate football because the power many of the programs wield on campus. In a roundabout way, they got to Kapernick and he's literally started a wave that the NFL still hasn't dealt with properly.


I think the NFL is going the dystopic way as depicted in The Last Boy Scout, with Bruce Willis and Keenan Wayans. Not really a movie about football, its more of a backdrop, but if the current NFL don't watch out that's what it will look like in a decade or two.

Yeah I specifically thought about all that Kapernick crap when I made the post, but all the politics aside, I don't see how they can really go changing any key rules to the game. So in that regard I think it's always gonna be a hard-hitting, physical competition.

Yeah, man, I pointed out earlier that literally every single current pop-star is flaunting around cross-dressers or transdgender people in their music videos. I could see one pop-star doing it, but every single one?
