yes. I've noticed alot of foul humor when it comes to japanese people in those cartoons.

I guess during WWII they really didn't like the japanese people and thought it would be funny to ridicule them in silly cartoons

in high school my buddy did a speech on this stuff. he found an old looney tunes, merry melodies or whatever cartoon from WWII. it had some crazy shit in it.


oh and once porky pig said bitch. I was taken back

I think it i sessential to keep thsi stuff around (in a historical context) because it was a part of history, it happened, and we must remember. If we truly are better then that now, we should be able to handle it without getting upset.

well, yes. exactly. i saw some of that in school (amazing considering some parents could have shit themselves and then we'd never even know it existed). but i still don't understand how it made it on TV in such a politically correct day and age.

because the PC crowd doesn't care about being PC, they care about control. If these cartoons present a way to further their agenda, then they'll put a lot into lawsuits and so on. But I don't think they need to be consumed as regular cartoons by kids, but they would be great on a "historical cartoon channel" if one ever comes into existance.
