Family guy had a scene like 4 or 5 years back where Brian ends up making out and fooling around with Quagmires dad and when he found it out it was Quagmires dad and that she wasn't born a woman he ended up vomiting, and the joke of the scene was that the vomit just continuously came gushing out.

Then Quagmire had her over to dinner at the Griffins and Louis didn't want her using their washroom and suggested she go outside.

Though a recent episode of Family Guy the "Ida" character made a return and the Griffins were being completely friendly as Louis points out that it's socially acceptable now.

I didn't see this but the idea that Brian, A DOG, would get sick because he's making out with a transgender woman, is probably what the joke is
