Re the road Is the movie as misogynistic as the damn book? All those flashbacks about how the weaker sex wanted to do suicides? But no the strong and good MAN kept going, despite all odds

Bought Rogue One yesterday and enjoyed it very much.

It's the best Star Wars Movie since Jedi. And it's the only one since then that makes the original films even better

Is anybody excited and/or worried about The Dark Tower?

I like that Anders Thomas Jensen is involved, though you've got to worry about the resulting broth when you see that many names attached to a screenplay. Especially when two of them have seemingly dedicated their lives so far to mostly soulless horseshit. I've only got A Royal Affair to go on as far as the director goes, though I did enjoy that one.

There's a real sense of, "Sorry, respected Danish artists, but you're going to need some American businessmen to push this one through."

Not yet. It's so old, worried it might not have held up so well. I'll get to it eventually though.

I watched About Schmidt a few days ago too. I actually really liked it. Classic Nicholson performance

Kathy Bates was the best part of About Schmidt.

so fuzzy is going to irritate people by pretending to be on a nicholson kick that would exclude one flew, five easy pieces, easy rider and even fucking chinatown for being too old to hold up

Come on, fuzzy.

There are plenty of would-be Trump voters to admire in Easy Rider.

I know I know. It's just a biker movie?. I don't doubt that it's dope, and I well get to it, but in Nicholsons lustrous career it hasn't been one that screams out to be watched to me.

One flew over the cuckoos nest was one of the first movies I watched that set me on this kick.

Relax, I never talked shit about it. Just said that it's not one that appealed to me based on plot-line and release date to initially check out.

i'm pretty confident you'd think five easy pieces is boring but its one of his best acting performances

I'm open minded. Is that what Chinatown is? Cause I was gonna check that one out next

I watched the first half of As Good As It Gets last night (before falling asleep) cause I remember it winning all of these awards. Jacks awesome in it and everything, but it's so far not really all that great.

I knew a guy who loved Easy Rider so much, he carried a copy with him on his backpack at all times.

Easy riders such a great anytime movie; just plop that bitch on in the background of a party, even, and it's enjoyable

In college we'd alternate that, fear/loathing, and death wish 3 for our drunk/druggiest nites
