Default How warm do you like it?

I like it kinda warm but also cool. I usually blast heat in my car even when wearing my jacket until other people say they're cookin. But I love that dry, dry heat. V blessed to live in an old building where the cost of heat is built into the rent so we have 2/4 of the radiators here on 5 and the others not on at all (to be specific, the living room and bathroom are on all the way but the kitchen and bedroom are not on at all). So the living room is around 80-90 F (26-32 F) but 90 is too hot so I'll open a window or lower it by then.

So I think overall I prefer warmth but not too warm
Hbu?

why would you want it colder in your home during summer than it is in winter?

i've never understood that with some people.

i like it 65 F/18 C at all times.

when it's too warm there's no way you can moderate your personal comfort. When it's cool at least you can wear a sweater or hoodie or something.

I wouldn't mind if it was 20 degrees Fahrenheit (-7 Celsius) outside year round. it's the perfect outdoor temperature. I makes for perfect powder snow.

Lol is this a universal thing?

I think I get it cuz the sun seems stronger in the summer and the humidity and all that. D. Is from a place without distinct dry and wet seasons (except autumn, I suppose) but I'm guessing the summers get real sticky and that affects one's perception of temperature

See I get liking the 60-70 range for sleeping with lots of blankets or a hot partner (Mike is a furnace) but completely on my own I like 80. Sticking with that one. 80 with relatively low humidity

Inside, my preference is 68-72 degrees F.

outside it can be pretty hot and I will be happy. Anything from jacket weather up to like 90 degrees is good for me. I just hate the cold, it's one of the worst physical sensations.

it's more humid here next to lake michigan than even where D lives. In the summer it's like breathing water vapor. Humid air when cool feels colder than dry. So 65 indoors during a humid summer day feels cooler than 65 indoors when it's very dry, like it often is in winter.

I'd probably die if I lived with someone who preferred anything above 75. I am naturally warm bodied and keep it around 68 or so. Summers higher to save energy

We had some grandparents that were like Bonnie and we dreaded staying at their house as kids. We had a name for it - "the hot room" - and to this day anyone in my family will know what that refers to.

I am against the sleeping in the cold thing that many people seem to like. If a room is really cold, I will curl up in a ball and not move all night, thus waking up sore and achy
