Labelle offered the most sensible input to the debate: shrink-wrap is manageable if you store it in the right temperature. Sure, if you have it baking in some room in Florida or Arizona it could do some damage... But ultimately: Any vintage record you find is better off being kept in the shrink wrap and being taken care of accordingly cause every collector want's to buy the ancient product "as it was in the store"

I was lucky enough to see arcade fire in a very small club during their funeral tour, and they won me over thoroughly. At this point in my life, though, they do sound rather weepy and overwrought

Can still occasionally get into most of funeral and suburbs, but neon bible and reflector are not really my jam these days

this is probably true in part. SP was inexplicably a big influence on a lot of emo bands
