I wish there were an app or something where people could agree to meet to have casual, consensual, safe sex. I know that's what tinder is for, but despite its reputation, people have turned tinder into just another dating app with endless layers of innuendo and uncertainty about people's intentions. Is it just not possible for people to be straightforward about sex? Is it ingrained in us that we need to perform a bunch of meaningless ritual dancing before we can just do what our bodies are programmed to do?

Yes and no. Every time I have wanted to "just have sex" it has not been that simple. At the same time if we all could just be more honest in general about our feelings that would be best. So if I want to act out x fantasy and don't want bullshit involved then yeah it would be great to have an app like that.

yeah. I do believe that sex is always an act of closeness, like no one seeks out sex just to have an orgasm, because otherwise they wouldn't go to the trouble and just masturbate. It's the act of intimacy and closeness that makes it good. I think hooking up with a rando just because can be a cry out for some form of intimacy, and then if what happens the next day is like oh cool that was ok now can you call a cab and leave, maybe that just breaks the illusion of closeness and it feels like shit? I've also had experiences though where sex opened up a relationship to new possibilities and new feelings.

I bought this one on a whim. It is supposedly silicone that won't give me cancer. It was great. I had never tried one before and was feeling a little awk so M helped me out. Let's just say that the combo of penetration and clitoral stimulation with this guy was like, the best thing I've ever felt. Unfortunately the device died after 3 months.
