I'll believe when I see it. I'll be surprised if we hear a BC solo record.

During his Facebook rants, Billy mentioned that Warner Brothers pulled the plug on this. Can you blame them? That album came and went like a bad fart. Do you think they'd want to sink even more money into it after 11 different versions and shitty reviews?

If I remember correctly it was canceled because they flooded the market with exclusive variants of the CD. At the time vinyl was still unpopular but BestBuy would stock vinyl exclusives. With the market flooded though and every competitor under the sun having their own variant what store in their right mind would stock a variant on what was at the time a dead format.

Add to that the logistical nightmare of pressing, stocking, and supplying these variants. There was no way the record company want to add yet another thing to the pile.

To this day I can walk into any half price books and buy a brand new sealed copy of Zietgeist silver edition (the one with the b-sides and the DVD) for less than 5 dollars.

I can't think of their name right now. The indie store in Chicago where they did instores back in the day.

They were telling customers they would not stock the album because they rightfully felt betrayed by Billy selling out and driving business to box stores.

I bought a bunch of stuff online from them and left a note for them in the checkout. They called me up asking me how I even knew about what they were doing and I told about Netphoria and how everyone here was also pissed off about the exclusive variants.

Adore documentary about the charity tour. Bollz didn't like the director's vision, I think was the quote. Zwan documentary about the new album. They broke up obvs.

The most egregious one to me, aside from the metro dvd, was vieuphoria 2. When I was young on 12/10/96 they filmed an insane raucous show in which they played for nearly 3 hours. They joked about a million dollar camera and how much money they were spending. They were dressed up and on it this night. An extra long silverfuck. Lily. Galapogos. Just gone. I believe this was the show when he got the call his mom died. Either that night or the next in San Diego.
Either way. Lost treasures.
They already spent the money filming. 96-97 they dominated. Why not release it? Who fucking knows at this point almost 20 years ago.

Edit. The only footage you see is in the untitled video.

I was so crushed when I saw the setlist on the DVD. Billy tweeted the full tapes of the recording were 'lost' or something from memory.

It said "novel" on the sleeve so it was a different book he was referring to. Also this was back in 2004 so..

There's a problem with the label, all the negotiation they had before Warner Music bought over EMI was discarded.

lol forgot about this

It was like 2 wks after we learned about Auggie Jupe too. Just priceless, classic bill behavior: c ya! Gotta go on this great american/groundbreaking road trip!

To be fair, bill's teats (although large) probably don't produce as much milk as airplane modes, so the baby probably lived
